Anyone gotten a Force 1 yet?

"Partially Americanized"... it no longer even resembles a tanto.

It is however the most aggressive, meanest knife I've seen.

Balance is great for a knife its size too.

I originally ordered it based upon the prototype. When I saw the production photos I was a little shakey about it.

Having it in my hand though... WOAH!

Best knife buy all year for me.

by partially americanized, i dont mean that it takes the classical japanese tanto and changes it slightly, i mean that it is a close reletive to the americanized tanto style, wich is the squared off version of the japanese style. so its kind of a second cousin to the japanese type

the sog recondo is an "americanized tanto" and its very similaro to whats found on the force one, but the force one is a much, much more reinforced version of it

Much reinforced version...

I've seen the SOG recondo, and well the Force one slaps it around like a red headed stepchild while calling it "Girly Man".

I just got my satin finished tiger stripped magnum handle Force One today!!! Oh my Goodness, you will not believe the size of this thing. I put off getting one until the last day and I am so glad I got one. One of the best Busse knives I've seen in a long time. UNBELIEVEABLE!!!

PORKYBEAR....I'm Happy!!! :D

I hate that i didnt get the chance to order one when they were avalible,,I really like that knife,, yeah,,the pic on BAD MOJO is the proto model, the grinds on the production was slightly diffrent, maybe i'll catch one for sale on the forum or ebay,,hoply the Busse company store will have them and i can get one there.,,,

Yeah, that Pic looks accurate. But the thing is, it's BIGGER than you think looking at the photo, especially with magnum handles. Much bigger! Wish I had bought 4 of these things, hehe.

Ordered a satin finished, black canvas magnum handled F1 on Aug 15th... Still patiently (ever so patiently) waiting. Quote was 8 to 12 weeks for delivery, I'm not too excited at this point.(yeah right) It should be noted that my payment didn't make it there until Aug 18th. Also to be noted... This is the first Busse knife that I will ever will actually hold, carry, evaluate, use.
I am excited about the proposition of owning a knife that more than likely WILL NOT fail me. So excited, in fact, that I ordered a Leaner Meaner Street, as a gift for my dad for his 66th birthday. I trust the name behind the blade... lobo

My Black on Black and Satin on Black are safe at home. These rowdy knives are punching holes in just about everything. I got a pile of sheet rock and phone books I'll let them work on when I have a chance.

I'm a late-comer in discovering Busse knives but already I'm lamenting having missed the window for the Force One. I saw it on their site and was enamored of the blade grinds. However, when I went back with the intention of ordering one it was gone :( and I then read the threads/announcements about the production process and the company store.

Like Galaxytech (and a bunch of other people I imagine) I'll be hoping to catch one at the Store or on EBay, and waiting patiently for the year to expire.

And Yes, I've learned my lesson. I'm checking the site regularly.

Email the Busse Company Store (aka Skunks), they may have ordered some to stock.
