Anyone have a Kiwi 4

Welp, I ended up picking up myself a Kiwi 4!
Happy I did. So far I'm enjoying this slick little folder.
Here is the only photo I've taken of it so far, with my SuperLeaf:

I got a Kiwi 4 a couple of days ago , and I'm sadly unimpressed with it .
Maybe it was bad timing , but it arrived the same day as my new DF 2 ZDP189 .
With the two new knives sitting on my desk it was a happy time and I started to check them out and get a feel for them .
The DF2 won by miles in just about every area .
The Kiwi has blade movement up and down , and just doesn't fit or feel right in my hand .It has a delicate feel to it and it doesn't seem to inspire confidence if called upon to perform hard tasks .
Ive seen it called a Gentleman's knife , and I think maybe I'm no Gentleman with how I use my knives .
It went into my knife drawer about an hour after opening up the parcel . and hasn't come out since .
I'm not going to get rid of it just yet , I'll leave it in the drawer for awhile and revisit it sometime in the future with a fresh attitude .
I really wanted to like the Kiwi , I just hope it grows on me .

I don't think anyone should intend to buy nor be lead to believe the Kiwi 4 would be ideal for "hard tasks". It is simply an incredibly svelte wharncliffe slicer that fits in pocket with little more silhouette than a pen!
I only carry mine as a supplemental folder, and I think it is a great alternative to contrast the vast array of very wide blades that fills the current Spyderco line-up.

I liked it a lot but didn't think it was a good value. I picked up a locking sodbuster recently and it's about the same size for much less.

I aquired my DF2 G10 some while after my Kiwi4. There is no doubt the DF is a superb design, and I use mine loads, but it's wholly different from the Kiwi.

I have other small leaf shaped Spydies, but nothing else like the K4. It has real style IMO.

I have he Kiwi 4, and at first, it went into a drawer. I was bothered by the off-centered blade. However, the blade doesn't hit the side of liner, and lockup is tight. After some time, it wound up in my pocket, and is there right now.
I don't think the knife is overpriced, but it sure wasn't cheap. If the Worker were the same price as the Kiwi 4, I'd pick one up right now.
My initial reaction to the knife was that it appeared fragile, but it will do anything a pocket knife with a 3" blade should do. If you need a strong knife, then you really should look at fixed blades.

I like this.

I wanted a Kiwi, but then I saw the price and was turned off. I really do like most everything else about it though. I might have preferred it be a liner lock, as I don't really go for lockbacks. I think my Double Bevel will be ok for now.

I've been lusting after a Kiwi 4 for a while, but I haven't come across to many reviews on it. Does anyone here have one, and if so, what do you think?

I'm specifically interested in how it feels in the hand, and how easy it is to open one handed.

Thanks,
Mark
I sharpened one for a workmate and really liked it a lot. Tried to buy one but they are discontinued here in Australia. One will turn up someday I'm sure.
