All I need is a chunk about 1"x1"x1"... just enough for a bolster on a wa handle. I don't want to spend like $20 with shipping for a bigger block from a knife supply, but I will if I have to. Just thought one of you makers might have a cutoff like this in your micarta scraps. I'll gladly pay for the material, and the shipping.

I actually had a chunk just like this, but upon trimming it with the bandsaw, I noticed it had hairline cracks in it. Bummer.

I looked around the shop, and I found a small piece Salem. Just not sure if it will work for you. If it will, you're welcome to just have it.

It's 4" of usable length X ~1" wide (it tapers from about 15/16 on one end to 1" on the other) and it's 13/32" thick.

edit- ah nuts, I just read your op again. I misunderstood what you were needing it for. Doh! Sorry Salem :o

Salem,
None of my paper micarta is that thick, but I do have a small piece of Masecraft's "Alternative Ivory" that should fit your dimensional requirements. In my experience, it's a bit more fragile than paper micarta (can chip if dropped)... but you're welcome to it if interested.
