Anyone have a Max Ax?

I was out shopping for old axes today. Found a neat True Temper hammer, but no vintages axes. However, I ran across a Max ax kit. http://www.maxax.com for $100, I checked the web on my phone and they are $239 etc new. this kit is used, but no signs of use, so I grabbed it. After getting it home and checking it out I'm not so sure I will ever actually use it.

So my question is, does anyone have one and use it? what do you think of it in the rolls other then axe? And for that matter how do you like the axe?
 
Looks like it would make a great tool for an off road vehicle! Like having all the tools we normally carry around to extricate ourselves from being stuck in one kit.
 
Never seen such a thing. If it's built right, it would be an awesome tool to keep in a vehicle. Hopefully someone will come along who has experience with it. For now, it's on my shopping list.
