"Cattaraugus" which is stamped on the blade with "2250" under it, it's carbon steel blade with a leather stacked handle.
 
There is an article in the Knives '98 annual on the model 225Q.
It was issued during WWII to army stores personnel but was also widely used by field soldiers. According to Chuck Karwan it was much better than the Ka Bar.
