Anyone have any knowledge of this grinder?

My grandfather has this grinder laying around and I don't know anything about it. Just that the motor is a GE. Anyone know anything about this piece?

It's a Foley Belsaw 311.

It has an 8" disc and the belt is a 1X42.

Most of the other info you need is right on the motor.

It is a Foley. Later became Foley Bellsaw. They made saw sharpening equipment as well as small engine tools. They also offer mail order schooling. I have several of their sharpening machines. Built to last. The company is still going. Do a Google search.

As said, it is an old Foley. 1/2HP. Good for sharpening knives, and maybe some handle shaping.....not much more in a knife shop.

Thanks everyone for the help. Yea I wasn't sure if it was foley or not I thought that might of been just an old stand that the grinder was put on. When my grandfather got laid off many years ago he grabbed it from an aerospace company . Thing looks solid.
