Hi folks,

I'm considering a Landi. I'd sure appreciate any info that folks with actual "hands on" experience can share. Thank you!

I used to have a Landi PSK a number of years ago. It was a good, ergonomic, well-made knife. I traded it off because I wanted something pointier for an edc fixed blade.

I have a Landi knife, model named PRK iirc, in A2 steel.

I like the knife a lot. Finds its way in my pocket or daypack on hikes regularly.
Holds good in the hand because of the wide handle.
Grind was a bit thick near the edge, I thinned it out a bit.
Sheath is functional but a bit basic in its form/shape imho.

Don't buy from him personally. :thumbdn:
I paid for two knives in 2011 and never received them.

I got one last week and pretty happy with it but got it for cheap cause has been modded. Think it's an RSK. Liking it. Haven't used it much yet though.

I own one, I believe it's the Bull Maverick model (hope I remeber it right...)
As a knife, it's outstanding. I love everything about it. I had to re-sharpen it with steeper angle, but it came razor sharp, even with something like 40 degrees inclusive.
Hard to sharpen, hardness is probably over 60, don't remember the stats from his website. I killed my stones, had to go with diamonds to see some results...

Here it is:

I received the knife as a gift from a friend of mine from Europe. This guy ordered bunch of blades from Mr. Landi and had a hard time getting it, the guy didn't want to send them to EU because of the shipping cost, so we contacted him and had those knifes shipped to me in FL. Other than this, I cannot say anything about Mr. Landi.
The other knives were very well done too, big outdoor knives. I used mine around the house, did some batonning and splitting wood for the barbecue, it left me with the impression of being very tough knife, absolutely love it.

Here are two pictures of the other knives:
