Anyone have pics of Rodent Solution & Mean Street side by side

Its a lot more worn in the coating than the pics show, but yea, without all the pounding that the big knives get the coating on the smaller ones stays a bit better longer.

I've ground into the coating a lot with trying to profile it to a decent edge angle, but it doesnt affect the slicing ability like some claim. I have both coated and uncoated and dont really notice the difference. Actually, the uneven nature of the coating reduces the surface area to a degree.

AMS is a probably the better slicer. It is thinner .155" vs .195" and the blade shape better for slicing IMO.

Yeah... I wish they weren't so similar! The rats are such a value!.... Oh well, I will decide.
I got satin finish on my R6.. But the black oxidation on the cutting edge keeps me on the flintz polish. I'm in western new York it's very humid. Anybody know if the double cut is better than satin for rust? And the coated blades don't rust?

Bleeding finger. I have the rodent trail now so expect s full reviewe when it is below 100 degrees. So far am I loving that blade more then I did my CABS.

Never heard of a rodent trail before . Just Googled it... Pretty sweet. And in the size range... Looking forward to the review.

And the pic requested by the OP:

(I know it was requested over a year ago)

The Meaner is one sweet knife, and legal for carry in TX too! Though the pommel catches the law's attention a little more than I'd like though. It looks "aggressive" to them for some reason. My AD does not. ooooh! A butt grind Meaner would be the best of the bunch I think. :)
