Anyone have the Buck 315 Yachtsman?

Version 2, Tang stamped: BUCK, 315, U.S.A. 1974 -85 then the non-bolstered versions start. 300
 
Hi I was looking for info on the Buck 315 knife and can't find the version I have list in the 300 series seminar thread. Mine is a bolstered model but the only stamping on the tang is Buck, nothing else. It is a solid spring back action.

Bob, Some of them have odd placed stamping, I will bet its hidden under the bolster (stamped low). Watch that area as you open and close the knife and see if the top of 315 isn't visible. If it is only stamped 315 you have a odd one-of-a-kind mistake knives.

Yea, spot on, it was stamped 315 low. It is only visible as you open the blade. There is no Made in USA or USA stamping.

OK, had another look and USA is stamped even lower than the 315 and can barely be seen. That is good, now I at least know the model, Thanks.
