There are CS haters here? I'm new to this forum so I'm kind of surprised. Though I do deplore CS's marketing ploys, and I can understand that some people might not appreciate their attitude towards other makers, from time to time, I've been using their knives and other products since the 80's and they've always given good value for the money.

Even though they no longer offer Carbon-V, they are still using good grades of steel and offer them at quite an acceptable price. And I also really like their other products, such as their walking sticks, Koga sticks, Grivory knives, etc.

I dislike most of their products due to the style of them. Personal preference is a big thing, since they make a lot of styled swords and knives. Their marketing is a bunch of crapola and over done, not to mention bashing of other knife makers which is crap too. They get a bad rap for a reason, but it doesn't mean they make crap knives..for the most part anyway. From what it seems, they are really popular on this forum, but at the same time it isn't like people are bashing them all the time either.

Hope there is somebody who owns this knife who can help you out.
