Anyone heard much about these?

I have to agree it is a sweet looking little knife although a bit pricey. I'm sure the Buck custom shop could offer a better deal and a better steel. :D

No doubt. That knife is way overpriced, IMHO.
 
A trend I'm seeing in higher end knives is the nicer the handle ,the higher the price. I had a knife made for me by a local maker and the steel was a minor item compared to the time we spent on the handle. I told him I wanted a 4" droppoint in ATS34 and he said 'Easy,' and we talked an hour about handle materials.
