I must have missed his table at the S.E.C.K. Show. This guy makes some great looking knives at a great price. A friend of mine bought a few of his knives and I am impressed with them. Does anyone know anything about this guy?

I had the honor of shooting five of his knives at the show. Which means I also got to fondle them all.

He is another maker that should go places. His quality is right up there where it should be but his name isn't as well known.

That folder with the Big Skinnin blade looks great! I saw Mr Childress' table at the SECK show but I was too busy yakking with other Makers and missed the chance to play with his knives. Thanks for posting the contact info! Definately worth checking out.

Wayne makes some great folders and FBs at very reasonable prices. He doesn't do autos yet, but i'm working on him about that

. He will be at the South Carolina Arms Collectors' Gun Show in Greenville, SC this weekend.

One bit of trivia is that Wayne got Claude Montjoy started into making knives. Wayne got out of knifemaking for a while and Claude got him back into it a few years ago. Here is a pic of Wayne I got last weekend along with Dave and Mrs. Manley (Wayne is in the middle).
