It looks like they do in-house anodizing on certain models, which I suppose could be an exclusive, and they do call it as such. Everything makes a bit more sense now.

its a KnifeJoy exclusive, they have permission from ZT to ano the scales their (seems to be signature) color (as i said i know like nothing about this) and its still warrantied. the person i bought it from won it in a raffle from knifejoy and didnt like it.

not really hoping for a gold mine, moreso just curious, either way i got a really good deal that im happy with

I was able to find the knife you're talking about rather quickly. I would say since the model number is the same on the blade, and not a rare exclusive model just more of an approved anodised scale, their wouldn't be much of a price increase if any from the regular price of the 0562TI. There are other anodised 0562TI for sale from retailers with extremely similar colours like the ZT 0562TI dark blue ano from USA Made Blade which goes for the same price as a normal 0562TI.

Like usamadeblade, knifejoy doesnt seem to upcharge for their ano work. So its sold at going price of a new knife. Typically, customization like this does not add value to a knife and very often, when done by the owner, reduces the value. That said, its worth whatever someone will pay. Maybe that can get you something extra down the line

My advice is use and enjoy your unique blade

I'd buy an anodized knife for zero over the price of the knife. If you pay someone to do it for your knife and expect to get what you have into it, you'd be sadly mistaken. Dealer done or not.

Doesn't make it special or more expensive.

That's my take on it. You may not agree.
