Hello,

I am new to this forum and wanted to ask if anyone here has ordered from knifeart.com before? I have never placed an order with them before. I sent them an email through their contact page on their website but never got a response. I asked them what their return policy is if a customer receives a knife that has defects on it. Thanks.

There are undoubtedly better results if you search a little bit more

I’ve ordered a few from them, all smooth transactions. That’s not great though if you cannot get a reply email on the return policy.

I’ve placed a couple orders with them. No issues. I have not had to return anything though.

I paid $300 and the knife was DULL,, seriously dull and I don’t like to sharpen a brand new $300 knife. They got me for $20IMG_2008.jpeg

Their return policy is spelled out in resources at the bottom of their opening page of the website.
Basically 7 day inspection, 1 time return per year in same condition as recieved with no re stock fee. After 1 there is a restock fee
Beleve I got that right, but check for yourself, before ordering.I don't give a guarantee :)

I have ordered at least from them with no problems,

I had to pay the “free shipping” my purchase qualified for, I also lost shipping it back on my dime. Never had a return with them before. So if you get a lemon , prepare to lose money sending it back.

They do say return shipping is the buyers responsibility, but i didn't see any disclosure that the original free shipping would charged.
Thanks

I don’t know what they say in their written policy on their website, but read the email they sent me, “if knife was shipped “free”, then they would charge me for the “free shipping” if it’s being returned.

I had a miserable experience with them years ago and never ordered from them again. I documented it in an earlier thread. Hopefully they treat their customers better now.

I normally would not read the policy(thought I would check based on the op 's statement), but feel all charges should be disclosed, and as I stated the charge of free shipping was not. Which IMO is not good.
And I agree paying shipping both ways can be a decent expence.
That was all, not questioning your statement.

Hello,

Thanks to everyone who responded. The reason for my question was because of the shipping cost to and from my address. I already read their return policy before posting my question here and noticed it doesn't mention anything about it. There has not been any response from them and I don't think they will respond. I will assume that the original shipping charge will be deducted from the refund amount and that I would have to pay for the return shipping if the scenario ever happened.

I got my Winkler there. The (International) transaction was unremarkable. I wasn't really worried about needing to return the knife.

I think for anyone who's unsure or worried about buyer's remorse should buy in person. It's not like there's only one place in the world to buy knives.
