Just curious if anyone here has expertise in adjusting a Strider detent? I have a Strider PT CC with a very strong detent that could use a lightening. Thanks in advance!

If this is the three hole pivot - I've seen a pivot tool made from cutting a small a binder clip. Remove the clip and cut it to the approximate span.

If its a ball detent I believe you can just punch the ball in deeper, you're gonna want a tool capable of measuring. 0005" though :)

Disassemble, fill the detent hole with silver solder, punch a new detent.
Should last for hundreds of cycles before it might need refreshing.

Don't do any of the above.

Reduce the lock bar tension in very small increments until your happy with the action.

It will break in, however if it already is broken in, you could always round the detent hole slightly on the edges.
I would not mess with the lock bar and take away spring. They usually have just enough as it is to prevent blade play in the future.
