I have been mulling around ordering a custom with c-tek scales. I love the look but I have never handled it.

Can someone give me a analog for what it feels like? I'm assuming you can't feel the honeycomb texture but I just want to make sure it doesn't feel like FRN or any other plastic feeling material.

Thanks!

Here is someone talking about it.

Funny, I was searching for this today, too.

The guys who make it have years of experience in composites and worked on this stuff for a good long while before they got it the way they wanted it. I bought a batch of carbon fiber from them last year and they were great to work with. I wouldn't be too worried about the stuff. If you want to see some really crazy material, look at C-Tek Matrix, the stuff that has the melted aluminum it it.

Thanks for the info. I'm not worried about the quality, I just want to know how it feels in the hand. What would you compare it to feel wise.
