Anyone hiring apprentices?

Not really sure what the protocol is, but I'm interested in learning the craft of knife making.

Anyone looking to take an apprentice under their wing in the northern Florida area? Maybe a few hours a week?

Find someone local and offer to clean their shop for them, in exchange for learning a lil bit. I'm guessing some guys want to show you how, but are already busier than a one armed paper hanger.
