Well, I'm not sure what your interests are (besides khuks!)
but here goes: in Seattle there are any number of breweries worth a visit. Pyramid Brewery & Redhook are more major breweries, and there's a small brew pub (Pike Street Brewery) located in the Public Market, which is worth a visit even without the beer. Pioneer Square is the historic part of Seattle, and very walkable. The waterfront is also walkable, and Ivar's makes a fine cup of chowder. Ye Olde Curiosity Shoppe is worth a viewing, just for the bizarre value. The fudge from any of the stores along the waterfront is good!
Seattle Center is the former world's fair grounds (1962?). There are a number of museums there, the hockey stadium, rides, and the space needle. It's slightly north of downtown proper. Busses (but not the streetcars or monorail) are free in downtown.
The University district is a bit more avant garde, but there are a number of good indian restaurants along Roosevelt. A cool area for the young at heart. It's on the east side of the city, along Lake Washington.
There's an international district, easily accessible from downtown by bus. when I worked downtown, my office mates used to go there for lunch. Uwajamaya is a very large asian market, with a small cafeteria. Worth a look in, but there are lots of other food options. Asian art museum, etc.
I generally take people for a ferry ride when they visit. It's a great view of the city, and if you don't take a car, it's only a few bucks for the 45 min ride to Bremerton, on the other side of the Sound.
Out in the Burbs, there's wineries galore, I recommend the Chateau St. Michelle tour (free, as I recall) in Woodinville. And the Colombia Winery is right across the street! There are numerous small wineries there as well.
The mountains are within driving distance, I's recommend a visit to Snoqualimie Falls, It's quite a sight! It's about an hour east of the city along I-90. I expect they have a web site.
That ought to keep you pretty busy!
I've only passed through Vancouver, BC, so I can't do the city justice, but it's reputed to be wonderful. I did recently spend a weekend in Victoria, and there's so much to do I can only suggest visiting one of the Tourist Information Centers to find out what's available.
Hope this gives you some ideas.
