Anyone in Central IL

Greetings everyone,
I am new here, but have been following information on the forum for some time. I have been exploring the idea of making my own knives as a hobby for some time, but I'm just now to the point of learning and exploring the idea. I was wondering if there are any knife makers in the Central IL area (Springfield or Decatur) that would be willing to connect with me sometime where I could come watch the process? I look forward to learning from you all!
 
This weekend is the Belleville IL knife show. My shop was in Edwardsville IL but now I own a house (and 3 car garage) in STL
 
Is your shop put back together? If so, when I have some time in the future, can I come down and check it out and maybe watch the process?
