Anyone interested in a BK9 + 5"?

What do you think about the Kershaw Camp 14 ? I have the Camp 10 and was very very pleasantly surprised.

I'm impressed by the quality so far. I have lots of choppers $10 Tramontinas, Imacasas, CS machetes, Condor Parangs and a Golok, to a variety of Bowie knives and the new Tops. The Kershaw is thicker than most machetes but not to the point where its really heavy. Some where in between the balance of a machete and thick knife. I like the handle, much more comfortable than any of the Cold Steel machete offerings. Goods ergos, nice balance and a pretty decent hard plastic (Kydex?) sheath with multiple belt loops and carrying options. I wish more makers offered this kind of sheath instead of the cloth or thin cordura/nylon type sheaths. To be honest i like the Kershaw sheath better than the Tops sheath and the Tops knife cost three times the price of the Kershaw (and i actually got the Tops at a discount price). The Kershaw sheath is almost as good as the Cold Steel secure-ex sheath on my CS recon scout, the only thing is the CS locks in tight but the Kershaw doesn't lock in and has some minor wiggle room. But the Kershaw does have a snap that holds it in there pretty secure. The combination of the knife and the sheath makes the Kershaw a great value for sure. I might pick up the Camp 18 later even though i usually don't like machetes over 14 inches.

I have 5 Beckers, two BK2s, two BK11s and a blade blank BK6. Everytime a BK9 thread comes up you guys make me want to buy one. I think i'm just looking for an excuse to get one now, lol.

Nope not interested at all
BK-9 is perfect as a large chopper.
Longer than that better to have a thin machette

Oh boy, are they going to hassle you until you get one. Cant blame them. I really, really, really love mine. Haven't done much of anything with it yet.

I'm curious to see if anyone possesses the necessary photoshop skills to see what this extra large BK9 would look like.
