Anyone interested in a d2 tweener?

I'm thinking ione better would be some of that s35vn they using on the snody colabs!!!

I do love my 1095 blade steel from kabar ... And am equally impressed by their d2 and would like to see my fav becker in it. As for A2 it is ok but the rust issue is too much for me. My bark river bravo will rust based on the forecast! So my vote would be for D2..... Wouldn't turn my nose up at 3v but I figured since Becker/kabar do an awesome job with the D2 it would be a great steel for the tweeners as they are usually the bushcraft/cam chore blades which tend to travel wih their bigger siblings like the 2,4,7&9 which tackle the bigger jobs.... Just my two cents... Still wishing for it it though

when it happens, i will be in line.
until then, I will keep using my 16.

I may not be a Beckerhead, but I'd be in for one if it happens. I much prefer D2 to 1095 in small fixed blades.

I would be in. Maybe ALL the tweeners in D2? For all the complaints about D2's brittleness, I haven't managed to chip a D2 blade yet, and my 24 has to be the sharpest becker I have gotten straight from the box. With Ka-bar's awesome HT, A D2 mid size blade should be the bee's knees.

Love my 24, first D2 knife I've ever owned. Batoned thru some good oak knots with it and I still haven't had to sharpen it, didn't chip either.
I like D2 and the price from D2 to S35VN would be pretty steep. Price between 14 and 24 not too much.

With the amount I beat on knives that size I'm not sure I would trust D2 as much. I'd prolly buy one anyways though :D
