Hey guy/gals,

I've notice quite a few regulars over here that aren't over at the real Spyderco Forums: www.spyderco.com/forums

You folks should come over. I've found it to have a more personal feel to it than over here (as great as it is over here). Hope to see you there:) .

I used to be over there, but there are too many forums to keep up with. Spyderco and CRK are my favorite knife manufacturers, and I do check in over there from time-to-time. Sal and gang do a great job.

:)

I've tried to register numerous times but it kicks out my email saying my email address is not enabled. I've tried another email address and got the same result. What gives?

Some email providers are banned. I think most free ones. I don't know why...

I am a member over there but I don't post very often. I like it here just as much. I like to browse the exchange to look for knives. As far as I know, there are no wants ads allowed over there so it kind of takes the fun out of it. Besides, I waste more time than I should on this site! LOL!

I originally had the same issue guy/gals. All you gotta do is email Spyderco and ask them to let you register for the forums. The people who said that they do that to prevent spam are correct.

Will do -- but IMO the wording is rude ("The administrator has banned your email address.") Honestly, I wouldn't have tried to register again if you hadn't posted.
BTW, what's wrong with sending an email with a confirmation code (to complete registration)?

I was in the exact same position, until a forum member invited me over and explained the same thing to me. So I figured there might be more Spydie heads like I was lurking around these forums:).

I'm assuming the wording is probably preset with whatever forum engine they use. They may not even be able to change that wording. Hopefully Taz will see this post and look into it. However she is a busy bee so if anyone mentions it in their email request to get signed up it would certainly alert her to the wording. :)
