Besides, if the only pictures I saw on here were Thurin's, I'd never know what size these great knives are in the hand -- that boy has some scary-big mitts. He must use one lamb per hand when he buys wool gloves...

McVeyMac just bought about 50 fiddlebacks in the last 12 hours...if he can do that, I can swing fifty bucks.

Considering what you want to do, you should contact Andy and run it by him, I bet he could do something for you directly instead of fishing for one. Cannot do any harm to ask.

That was my first course of action. None in the pipe as of right now, and it has hit 42F here today. I'm sitting here with the heat off, the windows open, and the ceiling fans going. It'll still be cool at nights for a bit, but the snow won't last long at this rate.

Guys, I have several project in mind for this coming year, I am sure I will get my hands on a Bushcrafter later, so no worries. Don't put yourselves out. Enjoy your Fiddlebacks, I sure do enjoy mine

Ok, I have been outside the last few hours, wandering the woods along the stream on my own land. The temps have been higher than predicted the last few days and the snow is already starting to thaw out. After so many days in the negative double digits and dealing with wind chills in the -30F range, today feels like a heat wave and I was wading through snow wearing jeans and a t-shirt. I decided if I am going to do this piece it needs to be done now, so I have already started on it.

Thank you, all of you, for the wonderful support, it really felt great. But there is just little chance of nabbing a Bushcrafter in time for this so I am just going a different route with it, and closing this thread.
