I have a Gerber Profile here, and I was wondering if anyone was open to a trade.
I'd be willing to trade it for three knives:
1. Spyderco Tenacious
2. Case Sodbuster (preferably CV)
3. Mora Classic (or clipper, or any other high carbon Mora
4. If you are looking to trade a different knife than listed, please, feel free to ask whether I'd be willing to trade for it. I like variety!
The thing is, I want the knife that I am trading with to be personally sharpened by whoever the owner is.
I like the personal touch it gives. The Gerber I am trading has been convexed, and polished to perfection by strop over the course of many hours.
The pivot screw has been loctited. No worries there, it's a good lock-up, and still easy to flick out.
It is not a requirement, if you feel you are not very experienced in the art of sharpening, that's fine.
The one thing I am offering in return for the knife, other than my Gerber, is also a free sharpening.
You may send two knives of your choice to me to be hand sharpened to a hair shaving level (or hair splitting, depending on the steel and heat treat).
The knives you send must be legal in the state of California (no blade length limit, but you can not send any automatic knives, OTF knives, or balisongs), unless you are willing to
take full responsibility for their confiscation, if any.
