Anyone jumping on the nutnfancy special edition purple Lionsteel SR-1 clip blade?

I really like the color and clip point blade. Not quite as enthused about the TNP logo, but it wouldn't be a dealbreaker.

I wish it wasn't one with his name attached to it, I love the color and the look of it. It would also sit well with my purple endura, purple blur, and purple paragon OTF
He's a tool, but I actually like that knife. A lot of coin for D2 though.

Lol wow! I mean i def. have my reservations about the man and would def. be more happy with my purchase if it were just a dealer exclusive or something of that nature. But, I cannot lie that the man is the reason I began my obsession with knives and eventually on to this forum. But yes, his seemingly larger than life personality is bothersome to say the least

Wow. A whole section for the fans of this fellow. This caught me by surprise and I buy stuff from bladehq on occassion. Guess I never spent time looking for the tnpr's section., since I'm not a tnpr's.
Which I got to admit is funny and in the wrong way. Too each their own I guess.

As for the knife. Dig the blade shape, but not the purple or logo stuff. Pass for me.

Fellow forumites,

Please keep the discussion on the knife as much as possible. I understand there is a "personality" attached to this particular knife but cheerleading or bashing of said personality belongs elsewhere on this forum.

Thanks

Jason

nope. The whole nutnfancy conotation is a dealbreaker for me. I wouldn't buy a knife with a name on it if it isn't the knife designer. Selling overpriced knives with your name on it because you post youtube vids is way to ego for me.
I don't dislike the fact that nutnfancy does what he does , i just don't see the added value he is for the knife community.

guys it's only $10 more then the standard coated SR-1A knife, again it isn't 4xprice like the duracoated and signed Tenacious.

Not into purple personally, and I prefer the original blade profile. Saves me some money:)

Haven't seen it yet but it better be light weight and covered front to back with aggressive jimping...
Went and looked at it, nice looking knife. Love that clip point.

I was on the fence, I love the color and the knife design. I like the project video's.

I didn't order, strictly a D2 steel decision.

I'm glad I didn't order, the email from GP knifes just came in for the Spyderco Southard Flipper, I ordered as FAST as I could. It will be my first CTS-204P knife
