Anyone know about these guys?

craytab craytab I knew that the 3V was solid, but I had been lead to believe that D2 and A2 were pretty much some of the best. I did some searching on the forum as well as some research into the chemistry of the steels and I am definitely going with the Freeman 451. I had no idea 3V was on that level. @gazz98 thanks for all the great advice.

Yup. 3v is that good. Freeman is a good choice. There are quite a few manufacturers and makers making things in the price range of this halfbreed company that give you much more for the same money. No need to go with an unknown AND get less for your money. Glad you asked and we could help.
 
Gonna do the Freeman myself.

If I can squirrel enough away for myself this holiday season.

Kids are spendy.
