Anyone know anything about the Nemo GoGo bivy tent?

It's a certain website's deal of the day which makes it about $100 off retail. It's an interesting concept using air to be the supports instead of poles. I guess it's supposed to be pretty stable, and a nice step up from a traditional bivy.

Wow, everytime I think I have seen it all... interesting concept, know nothing about it. The website claims the air chambers are stronger than tent poles?

OK, I found it. I would buy it for the price. It looks like a good piece of kit. I'm thinking about buying it, too.

Ya I'm a little torn. If the wife comes with me, we have a two person tent. If I'm by myself I tend to use my hammock. The advantage of this over a hammock is I don't have to mess with a rainfly, so it saves some weight and space. I'm not sure if it's worth the money though. Well, I'm sure it's worth the money, but I'm not sure if the advantage it gives me is worth buying it.

i picked up a solitare from eureka for 21 bucks and it weighs about 2.1 pounds... i dont know if i would drop the extra cash for a small drop in weight...the solitare however has fiberglass poles which i will soon upgrade.
