Anyone know anything about this brand - 'Cruso' ?

I bought this nice long handled hatchet, or maybe it's a short handled ax. Anyway, I think I could use something like this around my spread so I ended up buying it at the local flea market this morning for $3. From end to end, it is 17 1/2 inches long. The head is 6 inches wide at its widest point.
I was wondering what its' age was and where it was made.
