Anyone know how to get these scratches out the DLC?

i think the scratches are deep

If this is the case, then you haven't just scratched off the coating. You've gouged the steel.

It would mean you can't "remove" the scratches without sanding down the surface and stripping the rest of the coating off in the process.

Anyone know how to get the scratches out this dlc coating? I’ve tried water, soap, metal polish. The scratches were from metal particles from sharpening rubbing against the coating.
