It is my understanding that Jerry started making knives shortly after introducing the lightsaber to Master Yoda. INFI was the only thing he could find that was better.

wasn't he a green beret stationed in Japan in WW2? i heard that he was kidnapped and held prisoner by Hatori Hanzo, and that's where he learned the ancient secrets of metallurgy and blade making...
