Anyone know more about Jeff White?

I want to name up front of tried to do some real digging on Jeff White knives to learn these specific things before posting this.

TLDR: I would like to purchase a Jeff White knife, there's just very little information on the maker or company and I would like to know more before buying.

So Jeff White knives seem to focus on more traditional older American or European knives, are made of 1095 from what I see, and fully manufactured in the US. From what I can see, there's likely a company of smiths, not just one guy given that he meets volume for 2 websites who sell his products I'm aware of as well as Amazon.

Blades are listed as having a life time warranty.

So here's my questions and not trying to drag Jeff White through the mud, because I'm interested in buying his knives.

1. Given that there's no website or company address, how would one contact for a warranty? The only official looking site I see is a broken website from the mid 2000's.
2. Are they all true customs or made by a team of smiths?
3. Is Jeff White a nice guy? I've not heard much about the maker and search results yielded little about the person.
4. Is this like a CFK or Perkins knives situation where blades are from Pakistan but enough of the blade is made in the USA for them to claim USA made?

Any info or links would be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Balls

Jeff White is an Hoosier (as am I) I have met him several times and would consider him a friend. Very very nice person, to my knowledge he has a team working for him so while each knife is hand made they are not "true customs" (though the price of the knives reflects that). He focuses more on what I would consider traditional bushcrafting knives using forged 1095 and big old scary sharp convex ground knives.

I am not any help on the warranty side of things unfortunately, but after seeing and his knives in person and meeting him and many of his very happy customers I feel supremely confident recommending his knives.

I have one JW knife and the quality is way beyond the price point. Very nice knives, and I don't recall ever seeing any bad reviews for them. I'd buy another anytime.

+1 on this. A while back I came across his name while looking around the web, and ordered a bushcraft model through the website he's selling on (Self Reliance Outfitters). Interesting website in and of itself. The knife is very good, what you could call a primitive model, the likes of which you might see in an issue of the Backwoodsman magazine (which if you haven't already, you should definitely check out). I've only used the knife, lightly, a few times so I can't attest to the durability of it, but it looks and feels like a quality item, and for the price it's worth checking one out. From what I've read and seen, it doesn't appear he's just rebranding foreign made steel, so I think it wouldn't hurt to support an American craftsman.
