Anyone know of Jim Pugh?

He has been making knives for a long time. (at least since the early 70's). The knives I have seen of his are of extreamly high quality from his work knives to his higher end art knives.

Thanks Gus.

Do you know if Jim is active on the show circuit? Maybe I can catch him (and see more of his work) at one of the shows?

I talked to Jim at the Mesquite Texas Show a couple of months back he is realy Old and Cant See very well anymore because of Diabities from what I gather I dont know what you give for your knife or even what it looks like but his least priced knife was 450.00 6 years ago he is a Guild Member and a perfectionist ,I have neverseen any of his work sell less than 400.00 and if I had one I would hold on to it

yep...I grew up about a block from Jim in his hometown of Azle, TX. first rate maker and nice guy. his knives are true art, and definitely a worthwhile investment. they have only increased in value from what I've seen, especially his wildlife themed pieces.
