Anyone Know Steve Davis

Met a custom knife maker named Steve Davis at the Blade Show; he's from Powder Springs, GA. Am considering a purchase but really don't know anything about him, although I was impressed with our brief conversation. I am NOT looking for negative comments (remember the old saw: "if you can't say anything nice about someone don't say anything at all"). Just curious to hear from satisfied customers. Repeat, I AM NOT INTERESTED in negative comments or if you've had a bad experience. I'm only interested in whatever positives someone mught have.
Hope this approach is not out of line for this forum.

Had a table next to Steve at a Blade Show a few years ago and we have remained friends.
You may have noticed that he made some inexpensive but well done knives this year set aside for youngsters only. IMHO he has a great attitude and makes a fine knife for the money. When you speak with him tell him Gus sends his regards.

I've known Steve and his wife for about four years now. They are two people I consider to be friends. I have bought, sold and traded knives from steve for about three years and have been happy with every one. You would do well to carry one of his knives.

Just my opinion. I like good people who do good work.
