I wish! I'm keeping my blade to the grindstone if you know what I mean... knee deep in orders!

Anyway, go to the "2 the Hilt" booth and ask for Phil. He's a good guy and knows alot about our blades. He should have plenty of our knives for you to handle!

Best Regards,
Eric Fehrman

I got to use my FJ yesterday, and it is outstanding.
I had to chop firewood and spent about 2h non stop chopping and limbing and did not get ANY hot spot on my hand or fatigue on my wrist. The result was about 40kg of various woods, and the consequence was a total time of 2-3 minutes steeling and stroping to get the belly back to out of the box sharpness.
This knife is incredible, honestly.
Thanks Eric, and thanks again Featherstone for your input.
Jaime.

Very cool. I look forward to getting a FJ one of these days. I've heard nothing but great things about Eric's knives, and I really want to try out the 3V steel.

I'm wanting to get one of these blades more and more.

And I'm thinking about selling another knife to get one of these knives.

Also for any additional questions on the Fehrman sheaths:

Hi Nic,

Yes you can get our blades without the sheath. Getting the FS without
sheath would save you $20... all our costs on our web store include the cost
for the sheath - so what we do is refund the cost to you when we ship your
knife.

He also mentioned that this is true for all three of the "Survival Series".

The reason I asked him this is because my pack does not allow a sheath that carries on the hip.

The quote is from an email sent to me by Eric and is replicated here only with his express permission.

Thanks Eric-
