Anyone know this company?

Hello all, I was sorting thru my knives earlier and come across a knife I forgot about. The stamp on the blade reads Scott cut co, USA, Manchester, OH. On one blade it has S1001 stamped. Was curious if anyone knows anything about this company. Sorry for no pictures, can't seem to get phone to cooperate. Thanks for looking.

All I've got is that Scott Cut closed in 1946. That was about 45 minutes of searching, and a PDF of a local newspaper.

The Internet is good at quantity, so any search for something this specialized is going to be crowded by sites trying to sell you genealogy records, and eventually you see stuff for an English soccer team, and the results get rapidly less relevant from there.

I wish you luck, Jcy, but I don't think the Goggle is going to be much help, here.

You could try a phone call to Manchester's public records office. They might be able to find something.

You might also try the Manchester Historical Society, they don't seem to have a phone number listed but here is their Facebook page:
