Anyone know what these are? (found in woods)

i didnt see a picture how about some kind of old fossil shark teeth? its near a lake and it was salt water at one time

I have a beaver skull and a squirrel skull. The skulls look very close to each other. It it amazing how the teeth out of the skulls will pull out a long ways in a curved arch. Rodent teeth for sure not claws in my mind. Usually the beaver or squirrel teeth are orange in color in the exposed area out of the gums then whiten up in the skull. They could bleach out. Finding two teeth with no skull to compare to is rare. What did the skull look like? Since they are too big for squirrel and too small for beaver, I guess the whistle pig would be a good guess for the rodent.

either beaver or nutria teeth. hard to tell from the photos. I can say with 100% certainty that its one of those..

whatever the orgin, finding a seemingly matched pair is a rarity if teeth are loosely random. we often see teeth from cow & pig skulls since rodents do'nt seem to chew on them like they do antlers.---dennis

Yeah, I think it is an American one dollar bill. The numbers look different on the one you have, but most of the other features look the same. I can't see some of the features that you covered up with the woodchuck teeth, but the features I can see look like a dollar bill. People used to buy stuff with these before credit cards. They're pretty much worthless now so people tend to throw them in the woods, that's probably why you found one.
