Anyone knows a similar production flipper to this one?

Just stumbled upon these magnificent (IMHO) flippers produced by Czech knifemaker that calls himself "Vlk" (Wolf):

Most of his flippers and are unique pieces and are expensive.

Does anyone know any similarly designed production flippers?

Thanks!

That is fantastic. I love that the flipper is A) low profile when closed, and B) not visible when open. I have stayed away from flippers because of how they protrude from the knife and, quite honestly, I think they are ugly. This knife solves every flipper related issue for me.

Almost looks like its a combination of a regular flipper and a front flipper.

I love the looks of it, very sleek (Imo). I too like how the how the flipper doesn't protrude a lot; although I've never had a problem with any other flippers.

Yeah if you want a similar flipper check out Boker decade editions. They have a few knives with a similar design

Front flippers seem to be popular amongst South African designers....one is Gareth Bull, but he's not very loved here (for fair reasons, but no need to get into that here). Only suggesting him so you can see some flipper designs that I think you'll appreciate.

Also Burger knives out of New Zealand have a few front flippers that look pretty nice, and for great prices for what appears to be high quality custom work.

Not identical in the least bit but the budget line up of Kershaw OD-1, OD-2, has the kickstop mechanism by Lee Williams where the flipper tab vanishes once open.

The Buck Vantage line is somewhat similar. Especially if you get a wood handled one.

edit: meh....no it's not really.

Thanks; I have read recently about front-flippers and they appeal a lot to me because of the minimalist design.

Thanks, this looks fairly similar. Will look into ODs.

They also make two different Wood scaled versions of the standard model (called the Exskellimoor). The standard model has 440C steel, and has been in production for a while. I have EDC'd mine for 2-3 years now with no issues. They run $40-60 or so online.

And while the function of how this knife opens means there isn't anything protruding when open or closed, I wouldn't exactly call it a flipper. It is easy to open one handed when you get used to it, but it doesn't "flip" out with any speed. Whether or not thats an issue for you, you'll have to decide :).

Not my photo, but this is the model I have.

And then this is the other version, which from what I can tell, just has lighter colored wood.
