Here is one that I forged from a file. Before I put the final edge on, I whacked on a brass rod, then cut shavings off of the brass rod. Tuff Stuff.

OAL - 10 1/4"
Sharpened Edge of the Blade - 5 3/4"
Paracord wrapped and treated with Teak Oil

No Sheath..... This one is SOLD

If I didn't have other knives to pay for, this one would be mine. Looks like a brute of a user. I'm surprised it's lasted this long.

I love file knives and used to make them on my Weber Kettle with a blower hooked up to the bottom of it. Used a Grizzly grinder and buffer. If that knife had a sheath and wooden handles of some sort it would be mine. Never did get the gist of a paracord wrap unless it was soaked in epoxy of something. Beauty for sure. keepem sharp
