Got one ordered from cheaper than dirt. Kinda wondering if I am going to get it.
 
I like mine and I also ordered it from CTD...

the d2 milllie is my first contemporary spyderco that i have bought new and carried.

i have been very happy with it, darn thing shaved my fingerprints right out of the box!

it is the scale color and steel combo that intrigued me. its a keeper.
 
The hard part about buying a Military is stopping with one ;) I'm up to six now. I like the CPM D2, but I like the S90V even better.
 
Can't go wrong. The D2 Millie was the second Military I bought and it's great. I also really dig the green handle, and D2 is one of my favorite steels. I would grab one while they are still floating around.

What's not to like? It is a great general purpose design.

Not hip on liner-locks anymore, but I find the Military's usefulness still puts a version of it in my pocket regularly.

Your statement seems contradictory. Do you mean keep it after you get it, or if it will show up? Or is it out of stock at CTD?

I don't think you'll find anyone in this particular forum who likes their Millies. I absolutely hate my S30V and BG42 so much I beat the snot out of them. Darn thing just keep coming back for more. :)
 
The full size mili. is one of those knives i dont know why i dont have :confused:
My para mili is a real nice balde so it looks like il just have to get a full size mili. as well now :rolleyes:
 
I think it's great, still a little stiffer to release the lock compared to my S30V model, but I'm working on that:D

I love my Mili very much.

Been EDC'd for four months now, (and the BG-42 Military for a little bit before that).
It takes a very fine edge for me, great working knife with an edge that puts most knives to shame.
 
I like mine also. I have had an old ATS-34(2 screw clip) one, a 440v one, and a grippy carbon fiber S30v version, but they have all been traded/sold off. The D2 version I have been using and enjoying.
I signed up for the BG42 pass around, we'll see how BG42 does.

Ordered another one today! The first place said they were out of stock. Said I should have it by Thursday or Friday. Can't wait.
 
The only spyderco knife I still own. It is good :thumbup:
My only other folding knife is a sebenza.
 
Lycosa: I just got the Seb last week so it is getting some pocket time until the new knife excitement wears off. To answer your question, I expect to go with the weather because of the weight difference (sebenza is much heavier). Pants = sebenza, shorts = military. Or I will carry both :D

EDIT: On second thought, I will probably just rotate. I don't like the idea of going a few months without carrying either one :p
 
Chocula---Sounds like you gotta plan! A good one, too. And YAB, you got a 90????!!!! You have to be kidding. I think I know what Millie you're look'n at next. Or even the next two!! lol.
