It would be nice if someone could post pictures of the queen withler from ábowe and underneath. I,d like to see the backsprings and how the blades run inside the handle. Is it the mainblade that is very thick or is it the smallblades that are very thin in a withler.

If by "dividing spline" you mean the tapered brass liner that does fill the gap between the backsprings on my Queen, perhaps they changed their design at some point? On my knife, the brass "spline?" takes the place of a divide/liner between the smaller plades and it tapers away to a point between the springs as it nears the main blade pivot. While I don't have it im my pocket today, I believe the spline ends about 1 cm from the end. It's a pretty elegent look, actually.
