Anyone losing a NCABS?

I know everyone keeps saying fishy...and it is. But think about it...if you didn't know what you had but knew it was of decent quality (as the decription clearly states) AND you just wanted to get rid of the thing...$100 might have been all they were looking to get out of it.

Busse's are typically only bought by collectors or those who go out of their way and research them since they are not a catalog/wal-mart type item. So I gather this sort of thing is pretty rare. Again, I just think it was someone that either didn't know what they had or just wanted to get rid of it ASAP.

...maybe test it for blood??

Was my thought also, lol. Could be a PO'd girlfriend! ;) I hope it wasn't stolen... Too bad I have no idea who owned it even though Levittown is around my area of Penn's woods. (It's in SE PA, and is a northern Philly suburb).
 
I won a mint Swamp Rat waki last year for $230 with free shipping. After waiting for it a couple weeks I started to email the guy and was getting zero replies. After 3 weeks I had to file with paypal. At the time I won the action the person had 3 positive feedback by the time paypal returned my money he had 6 negative feedbacks to go along with those three good ones.

After checking the item description on the feedback page it looked like he had sold 3 small items to build up a little good feedback and then listed 6 higher dollar items to try and rip people off. Bummed me out.

So the we're only about an hour and change apart.... I wonder if we'll ever get another show in the Easton area...but that's another thread. :)

I talked to one of the buyers of his auctions and the buyer confirmed he is the real deal. Pretty nice guy, maybe a bit too nice?

I need a beer!!!! Happy Saturday everyone.
 
btw, you are allowed to post links to completed auctions. It would be a good idea to say that it is completed, saves the mods the work of checking.
