Im looking for one of those smallish type sharpeners with the rods that have a set angle. Does anyone make one that allows the rods to adjust or have 2 seperate angles built in??

I was looking for something like this http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/31lgsbARJeL._SL160_.jpg but adjustable, or with multiple angles... By all definitions, the sharpmaker is portable, but I want something uber small and very transportable... Something I can throw in my deskdrawer at work and when we are slow I can whip it out and sharpen some knives up, but wont have to cry if it mysteriously comes up missing..

The carbide ones, are garbage.. Im pretty much looking for a pocket crock stick setup, but with multiple angles.. The Lanskey one is def a start http://premiumknives.com/ShopSite/Lansky_Sharpeners_LCLIP_Pocket_Crock_Stick_Sharpener.html
The Pocket Crock Stick is a nice product, the ceramic rods clip nicely under the base for ease of carry.

Even though it isn't adjustable per se, there are several ways to get different sharpening angles. One is just to hold the knife a little off verticle to make the sharpening angle greater or smaller as needed. Another is to prop one end of the Crock Stick base on something, sharpen that side, then prop up the other side and sharpen. However what I like to do to get a more acute angle is just rotate the base as needed:

Notice the black line I've added on the base, between the two sharpening rods ... this gives me a sharpening angle of about 17 degrees/side, which is what I prefer on many of my knives. Just keep the knife parallel to that line while sharpening, as shown.
