Anyone miss truly "lightweight" knives?

I still carry an Endura3. Picked up a couple of back ups off the exchange. Great EDC knife. Fits my hand and my pocket. As mentioned already, the Pacific Salt is the same handle, though it has some screw construction now IIRC.

With other items like keys, flashlight, cellphone and wallet in my pockets I don't notice any difference if knife is a bit heavier. If I could choose I would always take a bit heavier knife if that extra weight gives additional sturdiness.

I had a "hard use" phase, but my inabilitybto carry just one knife put that to rest. When you regularly carry 2-4 pocket knives, any thing over 3 oz quickly adds up to be a burden. I typically shoot for a 2.5 oz or so primary EDC, with a sub 2 oz backup, but occasionaly go over that, especially if it has an alternative carry method (my current team is a leaf blade G-10 UKPK in a neck sheath, and a drop point g-10 UKPK clipped to my right front pocket). Neck/belt sheath carry doesn't feel like a weight burden at all.

One of the best lightweight knives of all time - 1.8 oz (Buck/Mayo Waimea)
