Thought I had ordered an antlered handled Sarge knife and recieved an antlered handled JKM. If someone received an antlered handled Sarge instead of JKM please let me know. I am sure the error was on my part, not HI, in a flurry of emails I sent trying to snag an antlered KK. Did get the KK and it is stunning.

I'll let you know after todays mail. 12/2 order , normally 2 days delivery, still not received.

12-2 I ordered the Kumar Karda and the JKM.
12-4 I ordered the Kumar Karda, JKM, and fancy Karka Bilton.

As of todays mail, no receipt. emailed Uncle to verify orders. his shipping place is already getting the Holiday Crush. I noticed my mail carrier was an hour late in her deliveries and another was about 3 hrs late in her normal schedule. PRIORITY Mail is not so priority any more for the Xmas Rush.
Sometimes Uncle ships 'return receipt required', sometimes insured, sometimes no signature required.

A couple more days and I'll really start getting worried. Would love to get my hands on the new 'precious gems'.

My mail carrier is on the lookout for the two packages. It's 3/4 mile to the mail box, sometimes she goes out of her way to deliver to the house instead of me going the 12 mile round trip to the Post Office, if it won't fit in the pkg section of the consolidated mail boxes.

I'm having the same problem with a KK that I ordered on the same day as a Sarge. Got the Sarge yesterday, no sign of KK. Yangdu said to wait another 5 days before we start worrying.

The bastards have no problems delivering mountains of godawful Old Navy fliers and renewal forms for magazines that ive never heard of.

One day someone will discover how to teleport knives between computers, and all will be right with the world.

Looks like we are all in the same boat. Let's take turns rowing. I'll take the first watch. ;)

Ahem.

I ordered with my heart, not my checkbook, and today had to send back one of the two antler-handled SARGE knives to Bill and Yangdu. The one I returned is VERY close to the original design, curved antler, beautifully polished, and with a blade shape and grind that I liked a lot.

Don't believe this interfers with with the mixed shipping orders, but at least ONE more antler handled SARGE will be in Reno by the end of the week or so.

I made a poorly done puukko style dangler sheath for the SARGE and carry it every day. It just gets sharper. It disappears on my belt or stuck in rear pocket.

SARGE was designed as a tool, not a weapon, and doesn't alarm anyone.

Just dumb on my part.

I ordered all stray pieces...don't know how Bill messed up the shipping, but maybe since I only ordered them telepathically...

Anyway, to save Bill trouble, just send them all to my house...

Oh... that was you. You need your telepathy recalibrated. I thought you ordered three of those mucous covered sheaths. I already sent them. Please send the money to me instead of Uncle Bill.
 :)

I'm sending green stamps Bruise...trust me, they will come back in vogue some day.

Those were a real PIA, that is until time to cash them in and get something nifty with them.
What sucked was waiting until you got that last 1/4 book filled and hoping the item wouldn't go out of stock before you had them collected.:grumpy:

My Mom had the perfect system...she had us do them. We thought it was fun back then. Of course, we didn't yet have a TV, so watching paint dry was also a fun activity. :)

I think I was having my "bad day" when Yangdu was trying to get these shipped. With the load she is carrying right now I'm surprised she does as well as she does. Wish I could be of more help to her but some days I just can't function.

We are sorry for the late mixups but things are not normal.

I wouldn't sweat it Uncle Bill. I'm sure the guys are cool with everything. i mean it's not like any of us are saying "Man, I wish Uncle Bill would hurry up and ship that knife to me. I have an awful lot of stuff to cut and no knife!" We'll survive, and Yangdu is doing an excellent job.

OK guys & gals, I quit rowing and getting out of the boat.

My 12/2 and 12/4 orders came in today. Beautiful one and all. The packages must have decided they wanted to travel together to keep warm in this cold weather. :)

Maybe there is light at the end of the tunnel :D :D Or wait is that a train
