Wow! That's a lot of Titanium. Amazingly, the current bid for this lot is over $54,000.00 for 11,000lbs of Ti. That works out to $4.90 per pound! It makes me feel a lot better for having paid $6.00 per pound for the 40lbs of 6AL4V from a scrap metal dealer here in LA. I guess it's true that scrap metal prices are at an all time high.
