Anyone not even use a pocket clip?

Actually, it could be regarded as a semi-custom, production pistol from Dan Wesson. This is their 10mm Razorback, aptly suited for hunting feral hogs, and other two-legged goblins. This one was over two-grand if memory serves, and more expensive than my Kimbers. Dan Wesson was acquired by the CZ firearms conglomerate. The grips are G10, from Altamont. Here is a snap from a better angle, next to my Kimber. The deep-carry clip on the ZT comes from an Etsy-vendor named Blade4sell, he does them in titanium. Usually takes about 8 weeks from order to reception, but he does great work!

Blade4sell does great clips, but the wait time is agonising :)

Pocket clips - yeah I prefer them since it keeps the knife from laying flat in my pocket. I usually find an aftermarket clip from MXG Gear (similar clips to Blade4sell, not as good, but they ship immediately) that doesn't interfere with my grip.

I have no clip on my slip joints, and even then, I like to use the vertical pocket inside my Dockers pants or use a pocket quiver to hold the knife upright.
I do HATE the feeling of a knife lying along my leg, especially if its > 5oz.

In recent years I have often not used the clip, instead I have attached the top knot of the lanyard to the small coin pocket of the jeans. That holds the knife in position very well, it can be pulled easily and is almost invisible. It's a very simple lanyard, not braided, but with three knots, one directly at the lanyard hole, one in the middle and a double knot at the end.

I always use pocket clips, I find them useful and I always no where my knife is, also keeps other stuff from hitting my folders wallet change keys and the like.

That’s interesting. I’ll keep it in mind for small knives and ones without clips. Have you had it catch on something and pull the knife out?

The lanyard is simply "clamped" into the small coin pocket of the jeans with the thick knot. I can pull the knife by grabbing the lanyard and pulling the knife out of my pocket.
I would like to send you an email with pictures.

I was playing around with "break away" paracord knots, but tying it off to my belt loop was just to much paracord showing. cool idea though. Stitching my dress pants pocket worked well, wish I knew how to post a pic from a chromebook.
