Almost everyone I know will be getting a knife...

Mom - Pink Spyderco Jester.
Dad - Spyderco ZDP-189 Calypso Jr.
Brother - Spyderco Impala
Friend - Spyderco Military, serrated
Friend - Spyderco Cricket, serrated
Wife - Spyderco paring knife, Kyrocera ceramic kitchen knife

...and finally, last but not least, me! My dog bought me a Spyderco R2 plain edge off of eBay. At least, that's what I told the wife when the package arrived (could you wrap this for the dog, from him to me? ) :) God I love that mutt. Man's best friend for sure!

Merry Christmas everyone!

No knife for myself, even as a gift for myself. Too much money on flashlights (Surefire L2, HDS42XR, CPF Peak, Fenix L1P) this past month.

This doesn't really answer your question... so sue me :D

I'm getting gift cards to a local knife store and to Wal*mart for Christmas, but no actual knives.

That is, unless my Dad got my a knife. He knows I love knives, but I also love cars, guitars, and motorcycles, so he could have gotten me anything related to any of those.

I got my Dad a Buck 110.

LOL!!! Nope, no divorce. She is a keeper! For our wedding a few years back, she gave me a Colt Det. .38 spl. snubnose (1st edition), with Ivory grips. She had it re-blued for me. For X-Mass the next year, a Colt 1991A1 .45 Auto. The year after, a Ruger SA .45 LC, ss with 4 5/8 BBl. Then one summer, just because I wanted it, a Ruger Blackhawk .41 Mag SA, 4 5/8 BBl. Too many knives to count, so no....no divorce. I'm keeping her. I'm working on a Ruger Red Label 12 this spring.

She even bought me a Case/Western 49 Bowie knife two years back. I followed part of Bagwells directions in his book, cutting off the brass handgards, and sanding down the grip, etc. I left the blade alone, as it is a survival knife for woods loafing, not for "knife fighting".. and I wanted a big heavy blade. I then cut off the extra parts of the sheath, turning the rig into a "inside the pants" high on the hip rig, held in place with a small pommel. Out of sight, doesn't slap on my leg, and VERY quick to draw. This is my Sunday afternoon/walk in the woods/fishing knife.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Have you ever thought of getting a Spyderco? I hear they're quite nice! ;) ;) ;) (So, do you get a Christmas card from the Glessers every year?)

No knives came for me, but I wast expecting any. I got a Seiko Orange Monster though, and 24 Surefire batteries...

3 of my knives are sitting in Paris, friggin FedEx!!! Oh well, a friend showed up yesterday with MOD Mark I, so I did get one:)

Last year instead of a knife for Christmas I got a box of tiles with a picture of a knife from the website it was ordered from. The knife came a few weeks later. In a way it was like opening the same knife twice. This year I ordered a leek for my father and a chive came instead, at first I was worried I wouldn't be amble to make the exchange in time but after playing with it I decided to keep the chive and reorder the the leek. To make up for the error the company sent the leek express post on them to enusre I would have it in time. In the end my father ended up getting his leek on Christmas mornig and my brother a "partially used" chive.
