Not sure that I've ordered from them or not, but I have used a few different check order places for years. Mostly the ones whose ads come in the Sunday papers. The only problems I've encountered were them not getting some part of my info right, but they've always sent out replacements quick. It always does give me pause to think it would be a great way to scam folks though, what with giving them all my bank info...

I've only tried one place so I can't say they're the best, but I didn't have any trouble getting checks at www.walmart.com
I only write 3 checks a month so it's going to be a long time before I need some again. They might last me until paper checks are completely obsolete.

I have a laser printer and went to Office Depot and got a big box of blank checks.
I then downloaded Check Printing Software 2000. It's a little tricky to set up, but the price is right. I print out a hundred at a time and haven't gotten halfway through the box even though I started this years ago.
I went to the bank and they checked the check out and said that the magnetic readers could read the check so I've never had any trouble with the checks clearing the bank.
