Anyone out there?

Hello people,I'm new to Bladeforums.com and would just like to know how I can upload pictures of my half-assed home made 'blades'. Thankyou for your time.

You belong in the Custom and Handmade Knives area of BladeForums my friend, and not the Busse Combat SubForum.

I posted a WTB looking for a BG-ASH, and then put a sig line in linking back to that post. I got a couple of offers and wound up with a great knife, but it may well have been the sig rather than the post that initially got the attention.

I don't ever see sig lines because I read on my phone, but I do check WTB occasionally. The best answer is "both" especially if you are looking for something rare or old.

This summer I posted two WTB adds there. One for a 1311 and one for a scrapmax 460. I got a good deal on the 1311 in just a day. Never heard a word on a scrapmax. I think the 1311 was just off luck because the guy saw it on the homepage what's new section. I think the signature line is the way to go

How do I post pictures

Welcome to BladeForums!

Easiest way to post pics is to set up an account on Photobucket, and upload your pics there. Then copy the IMG tag for a pic, and paste it in your post.

But not here. This is the Busse forum. You could post in General, or in the knifemakers area.

I was just curious who all has had success with posting there. I'll just keep doing what I'm doing.

It just seems like a waste of bandwidth to me if no one really has success with it is all.

Oh well

Posted in WTB for a Swat w/ blk micarta. Had an offer in a few days, was suprised how fast. Knife should be here today.

I was looking for an extra SS4 as a gift and got 3 reasonably priced from 3 different people in about a week. That was a while ago, but the hunt is part of the fun.

I don't think it's a waste. I'm sure tons of spydercos and the like are found through the WTB section. Our interests here are just more precise. Maybe what we need is a busse and kin WTB page that the busse fans would actually check.

I wonder if people would have more luck in the "wanted to buy" section if they said what whey were willing to pay?

I never even knew there was a wtb section. I'll take a look and see if anyone is searching for some of the stuff I have sitting in my safe.
