anyone own a marbles ideal, and if so is the blade to thick to be utilitarian?

Im thinking of purchasing a Marbles Ideal. The question I have is, for anyone that owns one, is the blade to thick to be a utilitarian camp knife, or all around use knife?

I think the blade thickness will be just fine. I own one marbles and that's what I use it for. They only drawback is that it's a Morman or Convex grind. It's only a drawback if you don't know how to sharpen it, a subject with much discussion on this forum.

Sharpening it would not be a problem

Hey I noticed you are from new braunfels. I was stationed down in San Antonio in the 80's, then for a very brief time in the 90's (at Lackland AFB). I use to travel up your way once in a while to go to the outlet mall there.
